Bio:

Duc Truong Pham’s academic output includes more than 600 technical papers and 17 books. He has supervised over 100 PhD theses to completion. He has won in excess of £30M in external research grants and contracts. In addition to pursuing and leading research, he has acted as a consultant to several major companies and has been active with knowledge transfer to industry, applying the results of his work to help multinational companies and SMEs generate wealth and create and safeguard jobs. He has lectured extensively abroad on his research and has delivered more than fifty keynote presentations at international conferences. Bio:

Dr. Hesheng Wang received the B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology. Harbin, China, in 2002, the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Automation & Computer-Aided Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Assistant in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an Associate Professor in 2009. Currently, he is a Distinguished Professor of Department of Automation, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He worked as a visiting professor at University of Zurich in Switzerland. His research interests include visual servoing, service robot, robot control and computer vision.

Bio:

Gang Wang is currently a Professor with the School of Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China. He received his B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering and automation from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USA, in 2018, where he stayed as a postdoctoral associate until 2020. He received a number of awards, including the Best Paper Award from the Springer Journal Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering (FITEE, flagship journal of the Chinese Academy of Engineering) in 2021, the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Chinese Association of Automation in 2020, the IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting (PES-GM) in 2019, as well as the European Signal Processing Conference (Eusipco) in 2017. He is currently an associate editor of Signal Processing.

Bio:

Wenbin Gu is currently a Professor with the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Hohai University, Changzhou, China. He received the Ph.D. degree from Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2015. Funded by the China Scholarship Council, he conducted his research in the University of Illinois at Chicago (United States) as a visiting scholar from September 2016 to September 2017. Up to now, Dr. Gu has conducted several research grants as a principal investigator (PI) or co-PI, and he is the author of over 50 papers published in related international conference proceedings and journals, and is the holder of 16 patents. His research outcome can be found in international academic journals such as International Journal of Production Research, IEEE ACCESS, Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering, Journal of Mechanical Engineering, etc. He has served as a Reviewer of more than 10 journals.
